ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)
Light:
Tolerates low light but thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can scorch the leaves.
Water:
Water every 2–3 weeks or when soil is completely dry. ZZs store moisture in their rhizomes and are very drought tolerant.
Humidity & Temperature:
Average home humidity and temperatures between 65–80°F work perfectly.
Soil & Repotting:
Use a chunky, well-draining mix (cactus or succulent blend). Repot every 2–3 years or when rhizomes crowd the pot.
Fertilizer:
Feed lightly once a month in growing season. Too much fertilizer can cause leaf burn.
Care Tip:
Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them glossy and dust-free — they’re natural air purifiers!
