Syngonium Care Guide

(Also known as Arrowhead Plant)

Lush, leafy, and full of charm, Syngoniums are adaptable plants that grow beautifully with a little attention.

Light:
They prefer bright, indirect light, though they tolerate lower light levels. Direct sunlight can scorch their delicate leaves.

Water:
Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Reduce watering slightly in winter.

Humidity & Temperature:
Syngoniums love moderate to high humidity and temperatures between 65–85°F. Misting or a humidifier helps prevent leaf browning.

Soil & Repotting:
Use a well-draining potting mix with perlite or orchid bark for aeration. Repot every 1–2 years as roots fill the pot.

Fertilizer:
Feed every 4–6 weeks during the growing months (spring and summer) with a balanced, diluted houseplant fertilizer.

Care Tip:
Trim vines to keep a full, bushy shape or let them trail for a softer look. You can propagate cuttings easily in water or soil.
